Should raw milk be boiled?
Milk that has not been heat treated is not drunk without boiling. Pasteurized and UHT milks have gone through a defined heat treatment before they are sold.
Milk that has not been heat treated is not drunk without boiling. The regulation defines raw milk as milk that has not been heated above 40 °C and has not undergone any treatment with an equivalent effect. Pasteurized and UHT milks, on the other hand, have gone through a treatment with a defined temperature and time before they go on sale; there is no need to boil them again.
