Is the discount pack really a bargain?

A large pack lowers the unit price but can also raise the amount you eat. What decides whether the advantage is real is the plan in the kitchen.

Large packages look like a bargain on the shelf because they lower the unit price; but that advantage only comes true if the package is used as planned. A product that spoils and gets thrown away was not bought cheaply; a package finished in one go means a portion larger than planned. What decides the advantage is not the price tag but the plan in the kitchen.
