How many calories does a tablespoon of flour add to a sauce?

A tablespoon of flour is between 5 and 8 grams and adds about 19-28 calories to a sauce; the butter added with the same spoon is 75 calories.

The white wheat flour record of the American food database gives 364 calories for 100 grams and counts one cup as 125 grams. From this, a 15 milliliter tablespoon comes to about 7.8 grams of flour and about 28 calories; if the spoon drops to 10 milliliters the figure falls to 19.
