How many portions are in the pack?

The values on a pack usually belong to a single portion, not to the whole pack. How many portions the pack divides into is the label's first question.

The values you read on a pack usually belong not to the whole pack but to one defined portion. The same pack can hold two portions or four; the first question to ask before judging a product is what that division is. When the division goes unnoticed, the whole pack is read as a single portion and the table looks smaller than it is.
